Another Lawsuit Challenges Israel Academic Boycott
By Elizabeth Redden. A lawsuit filed in a New York state court on Wednesday alleges discrimination by the American Studies Association in relation to its boycott of Israeli academic institutions. The lawsuit alleges that the plaintiff, a not-for-profit organization that was, according to the legal complaint, “recently organized to educate and promote sharing and criticism of scholarly, religious and academic books … and to advocate for acceptance of Israeli institutions worldwide,” is barred from joining the ASA as an institutional member on the basis of its Israeli national origin. Décès de Bertrand Schwartz, "père" des Missions locales
L'auteur du rapport de 1981 intitulé "l'insertion des jeunes en difficulté", est décédé le 31 juillet 2016.
À l'origine de la création des Missions locales et des Permanences d'accueil d'information et d'orientation (PAIO) en 1982, Bertrand Schwartz a également été un promoteur de l’innovation en matière de formation continue des adultes, notamment en tant que directeur du Centre universitaire de coopération économique et sociale (Cuces) puis de l’Institut national pour la formation des adultes (Infa).
En 1969, il a créé la revue "Éducation permanente", "première revue francophone de recherche dans le champ de la formation des adultes et du développement des compétences, au travail et hors travail". Voir l'article...
