Latest student survey shows high level of satisfaction

Universities UKUniversities UK has welcomed the results of the latest National Student Survey (NSS) which show that student satisfaction remains high across universities in the UK. 
The NSS is an annual survey of final-year undergraduates studying for higher education qualifications at higher education institutions. Around 312,000 final-year students responded to the survey – from universities across the UK – 10,000 more than last year. 86 per cent of respondents said they were satisfied overall with their course. European university leaders call for continued collaboration after Brexit vote

University EU research funding gives £1bn boost to economy and creates jobs

Universities UKThe Universities UK analysis – looking at the latest data for the year 2014-15 – showed that UK universities attracted more than £836 million in research grants and contracts from EU sources.

UK and German university leaders highlight importance of EU collaboration

Universities UKUniversity leaders in the UK and Germany have underlined how the EU helps academics to carry out cutting-edge research and enables students to study in other parts of the EU.
Ahead of a meeting of UK and German university leaders in Berlin this week (1–2 June), the head of the German university membership body the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) said that both the UK and Germany 'benefit tremendously from the exchange of students and researchers as well as from the exceptionally close collaboration in research'.
