Draft EU Budget 2017: €10.3 billion for Horizon 2020, €2 billion for Erasmus+
On 30 June 2016, the European Commission published its proposal for the 2017 EU budget. The proposal also includes the annual programme budget for Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+.
Overall the draft budget amounts to €157.7 billion in commitments, a 1.7% increase compared to this year’s budget, and €134.9 billion in payments, a 6.2% decrease compared to 2016. With its proposal, the Commission aims to support economic recovery and address the security and humanitarian challenges facing the Union. More...
