Portal "Recognition in Germany" now also available in Greek

“Recognition in Germany” in eight languages

Bundesinstitut für BerufsbildungThe Federal Government portal “Recognition in Germany” is now available in eight languages. The familiar versions in German and English have now been joined by information pages in Italian, Polish, Romanian, Spanish, Italian, Turkish and Greek.
The website can be used to find out information on the recognition procedure, on the relevant competent body responsible for the recognition process and on advisory services. Depending on occupation or country of origin, recognition of professional or vocational qualifications may be mandatory, as is the case in most healthcare occupations, for example, or may represent a useful addition to job application documents that enables better evaluation of qualifications on the part of the employer. Ireland - green light for 25 new apprenticeships

HomeIreland currently has 27 apprenticeships. All of these are in traditional areas, largely construction-based, but including printing, aircraft maintenance and mechanics.
These apprenticeships are of very high quality, proven by continuous success in World Skills competitions. In 2015, more than 3 000 young people are expected to begin apprenticeships in these areas, an increase of over 100% compared with new apprentices in 2012. More...

Recruter dans une région peu attractive

D’autres, plus rurales ou éloignées des grandes métropoles, peinent à attirer des candidats. Sur quels leviers les entreprises installées dans ces régions peuvent-elles s’appuyer pour recruter ?
Les jeunes cadres et les jeunes diplômés de l’enseignement supérieur mettent en avant, dans l’attractivité des régions, des éléments concernant la qualité de vie : des infrastructures de transport bien développées, un climat agréable et une importante offre de loisirs, selon l’étude L’attractivité des régions françaises pour les jeunes cadres et les jeunes diplômés menée par l’Apec. Mais ils pensent aussi à leur évolution professionnelle : la présence d’un tissu économique dense et diversifié est citée prioritairement comme critère déterminant de choix d’une région.
