FOAD. Capform Express un site destiné aux acteurs de la formation

Baptisé Capform Express, ce portail (accessible à tous depuis le 29 septembre 2017) rassemble des modules payants de formation ouverte à distance conçus par les 12 Cafoc. De 24 modules bientôt disponibles, il passera à environ 40 modules fin 2018. Il met à disposition une cellule tutorale ainsi qu'un bouquet de services composé d'une webTV, d'un système de veille et d'un wiki.

What I learned from the ICDE World Conference on Online Learning

By Tony Bates. This conference was a bit different for me as I was heavily engaged in a number of different activities, including:

giving a presentation, together with the research team, on the results for the 2017 national survey of online and distance education in Canadian post-secondary education;
attending a meeting on the future of the survey;
running three, one-hour workshops based on my book;
three sessions signing printed copies of my book; Contact North had made available 600 printed copies which were given away to participants. More...

Results from the Canadian survey of online learning now available

This is the first national snapshot of online and distance learning for both colleges and universities in Canada but its value will be much enhanced by a more longitudinal set of studies. The research team is working with potential sponsors to establish a stronger organizational structure, more secure long-term funding, and a more representative steering committee for the survey. As many readers will know, I am leading a team conducting a survey of online and distance learning in Canadian public post-secondary educational institutions.
