An international seminar on lifelong learning was held in Brasilia (Brazil) from 25 to 27 April 2016, with the aim of evaluating and reviewing the progress of the implementation of the Belém Framework for Action, which was adopted by the sixth International Conference on Adult Learning and Education in 2009 (CONFINTEA VI).
