IAU at the Zero Project Conference 2016
The Conference which saw the participation of over 500 participants from 70 countries was titled Innovative Policies and Practices on Inclusive Education and ICT. The session on Inclusive Universities showcased great practices and policies that have been taking place in various regions of the world at government and higher education levels. They illustrated the wealth and breadth of activities undertaken in the field worldwide, but also showed that there was still a long way to go before all persons with disabilities, who had the capacity and wish to attend higher education could do so in the field of study and location of their choice.
