L’Université de Paris-Saclay : un grand projet à la française (1)

The ConversationPar . L’université de Paris-Saclay (UPSaclay) a été créée officiellement au printemps 2014. Elle constitue la facette académique ou amont d’un pôle d’innovation et de technologie mis progressivement en place dès 2004. Ce cluster est établi sur 7 700 hectares du plateau de Saclay, au sud de Paris. Il rassemble de grandes multinationales – Danone, EADS, EDF, France Télécom, Siemens, Thalès, etc. – et plus de 300 petites et moyennes entreprises de pointe. Voir l'article...

Pour une revalorisation urgente des diplômes universitaires

The ConversationPar . Non habemus hic manentem civitatem. Ces mots célèbres que l’on trouve dans la Lettre aux Hébreux ont sans doute inspiré les politiques universitaires des dernières années. Les ministres qui se sont succédé ont dû considérer que le sort de l’université était scellé, qu’aucun gouvernement n’oserait plus défier le pouvoir de veto des syndicats des étudiants. Non habemus hic manentem universitatem, « notre université définitive ne se trouve pas sur cette terre » est ainsi devenue leur credo, aussi inavouable que reconnaissable dans tous les décrets, arrêtés et lois qui ont pierre après pierre démonté l’édifice de l’université française.
