La majorité des pays européens souligne que le secteur de l’enseignement supérieur devrait promouvoir les possibilités d’apprentissage formel et non formel pour les adultes.
La mise en place de voies d’accès à l’enseignement supérieur – autres que le seul certificat traditionnellement délivré à la fin de l’enseignement secondaire supérieur général ou professionnel – est, par exemple, une mesure bien adaptée à l’objectif affiché par certains pays d’accroître la proportion des étudiants âgés de 30 ans ou plus dans les études de premier et deuxième cycles (par exemple l’Estonie, dans sa « stratégie pour l’enseignement supérieur 2006-2015 » s’est fixé un objectif de 25 % d’ici à 2015). Mais si ces voies d’accès alternatives existent dans de nombreux pays, rares sont ceux qui ont une pratique de reconnaissance des acquis en tant qu’équivalence à une certification complète de l’enseignement supérieur.
En Europe, la législation nationale aborde de diverses manières la reconnaissance et la validation des acquis non formels et informels dans le domaine de l’enseignement supérieur. Voir le rapport...

Automatic recognition is fair recognition

Recognition in Germany - Recognition Procedure

logo_enIf you have gained professional or vocational qualifications abroad and would like to work in Germany, you have the option of having your foreign qualification recognised and in some cases will need to do so. You will find all the information relevant to the recognition procedure here.
In the recognition procedure, the relevant competent authority will check whether your foreign professional or vocational qualification is equivalent to a German qualification. The equivalence check takes place on the basis of stipulated formal criteria such as content and duration of training. Any relevant occupational experience you may have is also taken into account.

You must be able to show that you have completed a professional or vocational qualification which was not obtained in Germany. You must also intend to work in Germany. More...

Recognition in Germany - Academic / School Qualifications

Recognition in Germany - Competent authorities

logo_enAnyone seeking to have their professional or vocational qualifications recognised must begin by finding the correct competent authority for the recognition procedure. The “Recognition in Germany” portal will point them in the right direction.
Pursuant to the Vocational Qualifications Assessment Law (BQFG), the Chambers are usually responsible for the assessment of equivalence in training occupations in the dual system. In the case of regulated occupations, i.e. professions such as doctor or nurse, responsibility depends on respective vocational and professional law and the provisions of the federal states.

Estonian and Chinese Ministers of Education signed diploma recognition agreement

Signature d'un accord de reconnaissance de diplômes France-Argentine

La CDEFI et la CPU ont signé le 30 mars dernier à Rosario un accord bilatéral de reconnaissance des titres d'éducation supérieure avec leurs partenaires argentins : le Conseil interuniversitaire national (CIN) et le Conseil des recteurs des universités privées (CRUP).  Cet accord a pour objectif de développer les échanges entre établissements français et argentins.
