La DIRDE en hausse de 2,3 % en 2014 - Note Flash n°3 - mars 2016

En 2014, selon les données provisoires, les dépenses intérieures de recherche et développement des entreprises implantées en France (DIRDE) s’établissent à 31,5 milliards d’euros. Corrigée de l’évolution des prix, la DIRDE est particulièrement dynamique, avec une augmentation de 2,3 % en un an. Elle progresse à un rythme plus soutenu qu’en 2013 qui avait connu un ralentissement (+1,4 % en 2013 après +2,9 % en 2012 et +4,1 % en 2011). Dans un contexte de quasi-stabilité du produit intérieur brut (PIB), l’effort de recherche des entreprises, qui rapporte la DIRDE au P.I.B., progresse de nouveau pour atteindre 1,48 % en 2014, après 1,45% en 2013;

Norway Adopted U.S. Research Model, and Lost

HomeIn 2003, Norway ended the "professor's privilege," in which faculty members at universities retained full financial rights to new business ventures and intellectual property they created in their university roles. In its place, Norway adopted a system similar to the United States, and now universities earn about two-thirds of such financial gains, and professors only one-third. Read more...

Journées des Grandes infrastructures de recherche

Dans le cadre de la mise à jour de la feuille de route des Grandes infrastructures de recherche, Thierry Mandon, secrétaire d'Etat en charge de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche, est intervenu en clôture de la première journée de réflexions du colloque "Grandes infrastructures de recherche",  organisé au M.E.N.E.S.R., les 24 et 25 mars 2016.  Thierry Mandon a mis en avant la richesse des débats et a rappelé l'exemplarité du travail de tous les acteurs de la communauté scientifique, dont l'action collective accompagne la Recherche française vers l'excellence. The ESFRI Roadmap 2016

InfrastructureThe ESFRI Roadmap 2016 identifies the new Research Infrastructures (RI) of pan-European interest corresponding to the long term needs of the European research communities, covering all scientific areas, regardless of possible location.
The 2016 Roadmap consists of 21 ESFRI Projects with a high degree of maturity - including 6 new Projects - and 29 ESFRI Landmarks - RIs that reached the implementation phase by the end of 2015.

The ESFRI Roadmap 2016 was launched on 10 March 2016, in Amsterdam. The event was organized under the Dutch Presidency by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) in close cooperation with ESFRI, the European Commission and the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Discussions focussed on strategic roadmapping, long-term sustainability and the socio-economic impact of research infrastructures. More...
