Education and Training Monitor published
The Education and Training Monitor 2015 puts the spotlight on education priorities most in need of public and private investment. Top of the list is inclusiveness, because of its potential to boost social cohesion and mobility between generations.

The African Union has merged its ministerial bodies on science and education with the aim of providing better advice to governments, it was announced last week.
The move has resulted in the dissolution of the African Ministerial Council on Science and Technology, and the creation of a new body, the Specialised Technical Committee on Education, Science and Technology (STC-EST).
