New website lists contract info for state government, public colleges and universities

By Martha Stoddard. A newly launched state website opens a window into Nebraska state government contracts and contracts signed by public colleges and universities. The site went live Tuesday. It allows people to search for, monitor and review contracts, which account for a major portion of state spending. Contracts can be searched by agency or higher education institution, vendor and dollar amount.
