Ireland Emerges As New Higher Education Hub
By Ankita Ramgopal. For those students looking for higher education opportunities overseas, Ireland is the hot new destination. The primary reason for the country's growing popularity is perhaps the fact that it is easier on the pocket when compared with favourites such as UK, New Zealand and Australia. Ireland has seen a 100 per cent growth in the number of Indian students in the September round of admissions this year as compared to last year, although the base has been very small, growing from an average of 1000 in 2012, as indicated by the Ambassador H.E., Feilim McLaughlin.
