Government censors science it opposes
By Carol Linnitt. The Canadian government has overhauled science communication policies in a bid to silence any evidence that might go against its economic agenda. Science, and the culture of evidence and inquiry it supports, has a long relationship with democracy. Widely available facts have long served as a check on political power.
