Experts meet to develop detailed law proposals based on the Minority SafePack Initiative

Eighteen experts from different European states with diverse areas of activity and professional background took part in the meeting to discuss the next steps and to form the working groups in order to develop detailed law proposals based on the nine points included in the succesful European Citizens’ Initiative. FUEN condemns in Kiev decisions to narrow minority rights in Ukraine

The minority umbrella organisation’s President pointed out that Ukraine chose the European path of integration, and this choice comes with responsibilities, the main one being to respect the democratic rules and the rule of law, and one of the rules defining democracy is that it is not possible for the state to narrow the existing rights. ‘Together, Moving Forward’: looking for new projects working with and for Student Refugees in Europe
