Revalorisation du RSA

Décret n° 2016-538 du 27 avril 2016 portant revalorisation du montant forfaitaire du revenu de solidarité active
Le montant forfaitaire mensuel du RSA (revenu de solidarité active) pour un allocataire est de 524,68 euros à compter des allocations dues au titre du mois d’avril 2016.

Décret n° 2016-536 du 27 avril 2016 portant revalorisation du montant forfaitaire de la prime d'activité
Le montant forfaitaire mensuel de la prime d’activité applicable à un foyer composé d’une seule personne est égal à 524,68 euros. Ce montant est applicable aux primes calculées pour déterminer le montant dû au titre du mois d’avril 2016.

One in ten students at the master’s or equivalent level is an international student in OECD countries, rising to one in four at the doctoral level. Almost 60% of international doctoral students in OECD countries are enrolled in science, engineering or agriculture. The United States hosts 38% of international students enrolled in a programme at the doctoral level in OECD countries. Luxembourg and Switzerland host the largest proportion of international students, who make up more than half of their total doctoral students. International master’s and doctoral students tend to choose to study in countries investing substantial resources in research and development in tertiary educational institutions. Of all international students enrolled at the master’s or doctoral level across OECD countries, the majority (53%) are from Asia, and 23% are from China alone

NOM condemns increasing discrimination against international students

ESU - European Students' UnionBetween 15th-17th of April 2016 EÜL (The Federation of Estonian Student Union) held a meeting of the National Unions of Students of Nordic and Baltic Countries (NOM) in the university city of Estonia - Tartu. The main topic of the NOM meeting was the quality teaching in Higher Education, and students’ learning skills.
During the official NOM meeting on the 17th of April, the NUSs unanimously passed a resolution, addressing the rise of right-wing extremism using the example of Soldiers of Odin, and condemned the increase of racial discrimination against international students in their countries. More...
