Le congé de paternité : un droit exercé par sept pères sur dix
« Depuis le 1er janvier 2002, à la naissance d’un enfant, les pères qui travaillent ou qui ont perçu une allocation chômage au cours des douze derniers mois peuvent bénéficier d’un congé de paternité indemnisé d’une durée maximale de onze jours.
D’après l’enquête Modes de garde et d’accueil des jeunes enfants de 2013, près de sept pères sur dix éligibles au dispositif ayant au moins un enfant de moins de 3 ans ont eu recours au congé de paternité en prenant, pour la plupart d’entre eux, la totalité des jours qui leur étaient accordés… »
