Degree apprenticeships to offer 'no-fee HE'

The past week has been a bitter education in political sabotage

138 500 Deutsche studierten 2012 im Ausland

Logo Destatis - Statistisches Bundesamt, Link zur StartseiteIm Jahr 2012 waren 138 500 deutsche Studentinnen und Studenten an ausländischen Hochschulen eingeschrieben. Wie das Statistische Bundesamt (Destatis) weiter mitteilt, waren dies 1,8 % oder 2 500 Studierende mehr als im Jahr 2011. In den letzten zehn Jahren zog es immer mehr deutsche Studierende ins Ausland: Während im Jahr 2002 auf 1 000 deutsche Studierende an inländischen Hochschulen 34 deutsche Studierende an Hochschulen im Ausland kamen, war dieses Verhältnis 2012 mit 62 bald doppelt so hoch.
Die vier beliebtesten Zielländer im Jahr 2012 waren wie im Jahr zuvor Österreich (mit einem Anteil von 23,2 %), die Niederlande (18,1 %), die Schweiz (10,4 %) und das Vereinigte Königreich (9,9 %). Damit studierten in diesen vier Ländern mehr als 60 % der im Ausland studierenden Deutschen. Mehr...
