ECMI - Pre-proposal Fellows Programme

The PhD pre-proposal period in the life of young academics is often a difficult period, especially for students who have limited training in methodology and approaches. The ECMI has therefore developed a Pre-proposal Fellows Programme to assist potential PhD candidates in the difficult pre-proposal period. The aim is to work with the Fellows through a successful application process in order that the Fellow may become attached to the Centre for the period of the candidacy. The ECMI is not accredited to offer degrees but we work closely with a number of distinguished professors around Europe who are able to act as supervisors pending adequate qualification of the Fellow in question. ECMI - Master Dissertation Programme

The ECMI works with a number of Master Programmes in Europe and is in direct co-operation with the Master in European Studies at Flensburg University. The ECMI was founded in 1996

The ECMI was founded in 1996 by the governments of Denmark, Germany and Schleswig-Holstein.
