The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), an agency of the United Nations, in collaboration with Cornell University and the French business school, INSEAD, has published the latest edition of its Global Innovation Index (GII). This is a measure of a country’s capacity for innovation and employs a total of 81 indicators. A total of 143 countries are ranked.
