L'innovation : un levier pour la réussite de l'école à l'université

La 2e édition de la Semaine de l'innovation publique, organisée à travers toute la France, met en lumière les projets et actions innovantes développés dans les services publics.
Une des innovations majeures au service des étudiants est la mise à disposition de ressources pédagogiques en ligne : cours gratuits ouverts à tous (MOOCs), aide à l'apprentissage pour toutes les disciplines de l'enseignement supérieur, vidéos ou encore web documentaires.
D'ici la fin du mois d'octobre, plus de 30 000 ressources pédagogiques, ainsi que l'intégralité des MOOCs et du portail France Université Numérique seront disponibles via un guichet unique : le portail sup-numérique. Voir l'article...

Emerging economies are investing in innovation but progress takes time

In Commentary, Anand Kulkarni and Angel Calderon unpack the Global Innovation Index and examine how middle income economies, which are increasingly prioritising innovation, are faring and how they might progress. From Finland, Cecilia Pellosniemi gives good advice on how to prevent an academic culture shock among international students when they experience different teaching and learning practices in a foreign land. And Ivan Sterligov, Alfiya Enikeeva and Victor Trofimov discuss the tendency for Russians to publish more in the physical science disciplines, while some former Soviet states have shifted the disciplinary structure of their publication output.
