88 % des feuilles de calculs issues des fichiers Excel contiennent des erreurs. Une infographie mise en ligne sur le site ITsicial.fr met en évidence quelques chiffres inconnus et pour le moins déconcertants : 38 milliards de dollars de décisions d'investissement reposent sur des feuilles de calcul. Elles concernent 78 % des décisions financières et 72 % des décisions et planifications. Seulement voilà, 9 feuilles de calcul sur 10 contiennent des erreurs. 6 feuilles de calcul sur 10 seraient mal conçues. 6 sur 10 requièrent des mises à jour manuelles. Et enfin, 1 sur 2 ne ferait l'objet d'aucun contrôle ni de gouvernance. Un pas de plus en faveur du Big Data, des analytiques et de la BI (Business Intelligence).
