Blog Educpros de Stéphan Bourcieu. Il y a quelques années sur ce même blog, j’évoquais la question des armes sur les campus américains. L’État du Texas projetait alors de promulguer une loi légalisant le port d’armes de poing sur les campus universitaires. Il rejoignait en cela les États de l’Utah, du Colorado, du Mississippi, de l’Oregon et du Wisconsin.
Un nouveau pas a été franchi cette semaine avec l’obligation faite aux universités texanes de respecter cette loi. L’Université du Texas, à Austin (plus de 50.000 étudiants), a été contrainte de supprimer l’interdiction du port d’armes de son règlement intérieur, au grand désespoir de son président, Gregory Fenves.
