The Université Paul-Valéry - Montpellier 3 (UPVM) melds letters, languages, the arts, human and social sciences. It enrolls more than 17,000 students, who choose from among many different national diploma programs: Licence, Master, Doctorat. Programs at the licence and Master’s levels: 23 licence programs, each offering several options and linguistic specializations; 9 professional licence programs; 23 research Master’s programs; 31 professionally oriented Master’s programs and 14 master’s programs with a combined professional and research focus. The university enrolls growing numbers of students in professionally oriented programs. Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier III is composed of five teaching and research faculties and an institute devoted to information and communication technologies and sciences. The university’s department of applied foreign languages confers a terminal master with two concentrations: translation and international project negotiation.
