Leiden Ranking: China Challenges the US in STEM

The Centre for Science and Technology Studies at Leiden University in the Netherlands has just published the 2018 edition of their Leiden Ranking. They do not combine indicators to produce a single composite score but allow users to select from several indicators and apply filters for field, region or country, fractional counting, and threshold number of publications.
