Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has been publishing subject rankings since 2011. The latest edition covers 48 subjects, including new rankings for Classics and Ancient History and Library and Information Management, plus five broad subject groups. These rankings are dominated by the USA and the UK, more specifically by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard, and Oxford, which are ranked in the first place for 14, 12 and 4 subjects respectively.
