North America Dominates Start Up Ranking

The online magazine, PitchBook, has produced its latest annual report on universities that produce venture capital backed entrepreneurs.  The order of the rankings is not too different from a conventional research-based ranking of universities. Stanford, whose start-ups include Snap, Solyndra, Guardant Health, Opendoor and Sunrun, is in first place, followed by the University of California Berkeley, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard.
