A steady stream of unsettling reports and surveys on sexual harassment in universities keep appearing. This started in 2010 with the NUS report Hidden Marks [pdf], which found that 68% of students had experienced verbal or physical sexual harassment. A recent Guardian investigation also uncovered more than 160 accounts of staff-to-student sexual harassment, highlighting a lesser-documented issue that poses further emotional and academic obstacles to victims.
