Validation of Prior Learning for new citizens of Europe

The new proposal VINCE - Validation for inclusion of new citizens of Europe, submitted by eucen at the end of May has been approved. Work will start effectively in January 2017.
VINCE will develop training for university staff members working in the area of recognition of prior learning, specifically those working with newcomers and refugees. The project will adapt the standard processes to improve access and inclusion in HE for the disadvantaged groups, helping them integrate into the European society. The adaptation will include guidelines for newcomers and an introduction to the terminology of HE in the host country, supporting language developement.
