Accrued interest in academics’ pensions

You report that the Universities Superannuation Scheme has investments in British American Tobacco and Royal Dutch Shell (Cancer scientists’ pensions invested in tobacco, 30 May). Just to add to this interesting list, the USS also has holdings in Japan Tobacco, Imperial Tobacco and Philip Morris. Other non-tobacco investments include Halliburton and Monsanto. More...
