Cross Country Coach, 88, Alleges Age Discrimination

A former men's and women's cross country coach at Hunter College has filed an age discrimination complaint against the college, alleging that he was “relegated to being an office assistant” because the college thought he was too old to continue as coach. Edwin Zarowin, who is 88, told The New York Times that Hunter officials asked him to step down as coach and to become an “athletic archivist.” Read more...
