INTERYoung - Equity and Social Justice through Young Adults Education in Europe
Social inequality is growing in Europe. It is urgent to adopt research-based policies providing guidance in shaping the transition towards a just, socially inclusive society.
European Union’s future is increasingly depending on the young generations, who have to cope with the responsibility of an aging population. In this context, young adults (15-29) education is a priority, specifically those with low levels of functional literacy, those not in education or training or those in situations of near social exclusion, who could be helped much more effectively if adequate young adults’ education policies were designed.
