2015 will see the end of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the launch of a new global framework for development. While there remains a focus on progress in achieving the MDGs ahead of the target date, there has already been much discussion about what their successors will look like – the most recent incarnation of which is the UN’s zero draft of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
