AVCNU Scribe Urges Varsities to be More Strict on Plagiarism
The Secretary of the Association of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (AVCNU), Prof. Michael Faborode, on Monday urged universities to be more strict on plagiarism, especially among postgraduate students.
Faborode told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that universities should adopt the use of the high-speed anti-plagiarism software, capable of detecting academic fraud at any level.
The association had after its 29th Annual Conference held at the Afe Babalola University, Ado- Ekiti, on June 2 announced the introduction of anti-plagiarism software. More...
