‘A commanding presence at Wake Forest’ - Maya Angelou had tremendous impact at Wake Forest University

Angelou, who died Wednesday morning at the age of 86, had served as Reynolds Professor of American studies at Wake Forest since 1982. 
Provost Rogan Kersh said Angelou was woven into the fabric of the university and wherever she went, Angelou carried Wake Forest with her. More...
