Sheffield University ranks top for 'student experience'

By Josie Gurney-Read. The University of Sheffield ranks highest for "student experience", while universities in the capital make up half of the bottom 20, according to results released today. Gone are the days when universities would concern themselves exclusively with their academic offering. Now, with many institutions competing for school leavers, the “student experience” features just as highly on the higher education agenda.
Today the Times Higher Education (THE) releases the results of its student experience survey, based on responses from over 14,000 full time undergraduate students in 111 institutions across the UK. Read more...
