Before Mobility - Discuss Assessment
One of the core ideas of ECVET is that units of learning outcomes achieved in one setting are assessed and then, after successful assessment, transferred to another setting. In this context, credit is understood as assessed learning outcomes.
In the framework of geographical mobility, assessment has two main roles:
- It provides a basis for validation and recognition of learning outcomes and thus for credit transfer.
- It makes learners’ progress made during mobility visible (that is, the extent to which a learner gains knowledge, skills and competence) and thus gives added value to mobility. More...
