Introduction
Since the 1970s, different kinds of distant education were introduced in Sudan through different and voluntary organizations on several levels. These levels included literacy education and basic, graduate and post graduate education. These efforts were made so as to meet the pressing needs of the society for education.
Some of the institutions which had adopted this system have achieved considerable success and others adopted a different kind of distant education known as affiliation, a method which lacks a number of the elements leading to accomplishing high quality education goals. More...
