Exchanging ways to deliver greater efficiency

A new ‘Efficiency Exchange’ project will help higher education professionals discover and share innovative ways to deliver greater efficiency and transformation within their universities and colleges.
The project’s new web-site, www.efficiencyexchange.ac.uk, is central to this aim. The site will:
  • ensure that the service evolves in response to the needs of higher education professionals
  • provide a channel for expert opinion and knowledge to be shared via guest blogs and partner content.

The service has been brought online quickly to start up the conversation, but will develop as work in progress.
An online survey will gather views on the opportunities, challenges and themes within the efficiency agenda that are most important to sector professionals. The findings from the survey will inform a programme of engagement. This will include workshops with practitioners to develop action plans and commission new content.
The Efficiency Exchange project is delivered by Universities UK and Jisc, and supported by HEFCE and the Leadership Foundation. For more details, contact Ian Powling, e-mail  ian.powling@universitiesuk.ac.uk.
