Abstract   
Four topics for the creation of the OER mapping model are addressed:
1) A rationale for a collaborative OER world map
"How would a visual OER world map be useful in your own setting and from your own perspective?”
2)The essential information
a) Basic, Enhanced and Further Enhanced levels
3)The visual presentation
4)The organizational approach
Also addressed in this report are discussions related to ongoing concerns in the field of OER and the next steps needed to create the final version of the model.
