Career help for graduates program ending
Ottawa is shutting off the funding for a program that connects recent post-secondary graduates on P.E.I. with potential employers.
A private Charlottetown company called Career Development Services conceived the program after discovering that an alarming number of recent graduates were having trouble finding jobs because they didn't have any experience. The company received money in 2011 for a pilot project under the federal government's Youth Awareness Program.
