ADD LIFE - ADDing quality to LIFE through inter-generational learning via universities

Not only the economy and the labour market but also our European civil society cannot afford to lose the skills, competences and experiences of older people.
"ADD LIFE - ADDing quality to LIFE through inter-generational learning via universities" is a two-year project, funded under Grundtvig 1, the EU programme for adult education. It was launched in October 2006 with the University of Graz, Austria, as contractor and six full partners and seven associate partners.
The overall aim of the ADD LIFE project is to develop university modules for non-traditional students, especially senior citizens, providing an inter-generational learning setting. The learning programmes specify academic/scientific learning as well as training for promoters in the specific topic.
The Tool Kit is aimed at professionals in Lifelong Learning and those especially interested in Learning in Later Life and inter-generational learning; it includes case studies on the developmental work in the project. The Tool Kit will be published in German, Finnish, Hungarian, Czech, and Spanish, as well as in English.
