Save the date: 4th Arab-Euro Conference on Higher Education
The 4th Arab-Euro Conference on Higher Education (AECHE) is scheduled for 25 and 26 April 2017 at the Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. The theme of the conference is “Research for sustainable societies – the role of universities.”
Participants will have the opportunity to explore how universities collaborate in research and address issues of high national, regional and global priority, such as water, energy, and the related environmental and sustainability challenges. The conference will also focus on how Arab and European universities can work together in promoting research and research-based education, as well as relevant policy and funding frameworks. In addition, a workshop prior to the conference, on 24 April, will provide an occasion for an exchange on developments in doctoral education in both regions.
AECHE, launched in 2013, is a platform for Arab-European higher education cooperation and exchange. The conference series is organised by the AECHE Consortium, which comprises the Association of Arab Universities (AARU), EUA and the University of Barcelona, which hosts the secretariat of the initiative.
