M@gistère est un dispositif de formation initiale et continue, tutorée et interactive, conçu pour les enseignants du premier et du second degré. À partir de la rentrée 2015, de nouveaux parcours de formation à distance M@gistère seront mis en œuvre. Découvrez ces parcours par académie.
La Direction du Numérique pour l'Éducation (DNE) et la Direction Générale de l'Enseignement Scolaire (DGESCO), en lien avec la Direction Générale de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de l'Insertion Professionnelle (DGESIP), ont lancé en septembre 2014, en direction des Écoles supérieures du professorat et de l'éducation (ESPE), un appel à projets afin de réaliser de nouveaux parcours de formation M@gistère pour la formation continue des enseignants des 1er et 2nd degrés.
Cet  appel à projet permettra :

• d'accroître l'offre de parcours de formation mise à la disposition des équipes académiques de formation continue
• de mieux identifier, pour les ESPE, les parcours proposés par le ministère ou par les établissements partenaires

Ces parcours pourront également être utilisés dans le cadre de la formation initiale.
L'investissement important des ESPE concernant cet appel à projets conduit à envisager un renouvellement de l'opération pour enrichir davantage l'offre de parcours et encourager les innovations.
Les parcours finalisés seront mis en œuvre à partir de la rentrée 2015. Voir l'article...

This survey, the first of its kind since AUCC’s last such survey in 2006, presents an authoritative picture of internationalization activities across Canadian universities. But even recent graduates coming out of a degree program in the midst of the economic downturn are faring very well in the labour market today. Statistics Canada’s 2013 National Graduate Survey reveals that just three years after completion well over 90% of bachelor’s graduates are employed – and almost 85% in full-time jobs. Eight early career researchers from Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Russia and the Slovak Republic have been named as the successful Group of Eight European Fellows for 2015. Each fellow will receive benefits worth up to AUD 20,000 to travel to Australia and work at a Go8 university for up to six months.
The Go8 European Fellowship scheme began in 2007. It recognises the importance of international contacts for early career researchers and plays an important role in building Go8 research partnerships in Europe.

By Andrew Trounson. LEVYING a tax on university fees is a better way to limit the risk of excessive price increases in a deregulated market compared with capping prices or loans, according to sector expert David Phillips.
Education Minister Christopher Pyne is understood to be giving serious consideration to proposals from Mr Phillips and economist Bruce Chapman to charge a progressive tax on university fee increases above set thresholds. The details of how such a system could work are likely to be included in submissions to the latest Senate inquiry into higher education.
The tax is aimed at addressing concerns that cheap HECS loans and status seeking could drive up fees excessively under deregulation. More...
