How have tuition fees affected students?
Labour have pledged to cut tuition fees to £6,000 – and possibly lower – as new data shows so many students are forecast to default on their loans. Yesterday Douglas Alexander confirmed that cuts to tuition fees will appear in the Labour manifesto - a policy first floated by Ed Miliband in 2011.
