By Trevor Howell. LGBTQ students across Canada participated Monday in an interactive “think tank” event discussing the challenges they face at school every day — including homophobic bullying — and strategies to overcome those barriers.
The event was developed by the Canadian Safe School Network, which partnered with several agencies in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Annapolis Valley and Calgary, each forming a “think tank” composed of 14 to 18 students. More...
