Paid peer review
Sur le blog Gaïa Universitas. Quand on veut publier un article scientifique, il est envoyé à un éditeur pour une évaluation. Celle-ci est une évaluation par les pairs (« peer review »), c’est-à-dire que le manuscrit est envoyé à des rapporteurs ou à un comité de lecteurs qui vont donner leur avis critique et faire des recommandations à l’éditeur (publication, publication mais avec révisions, rejet, etc …). C’est devenu un principe fondamental de la publication des travaux de recherche. Donc, quand on est chercheur, on publie des articles mais on participe aussi à l’évaluation des articles des collègues en vue de publication. Ce processus de review est bénévole et fait partie intégrante de la culture de la communauté scientifique. Voir l'article...
