2018 Learning & Teaching Thematic Groups finalising their work
During 2018, four Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Groups, made up of participants from 38 universities, have worked on active learning, evaluation of learning and teaching, university teachers’ career paths, and continuous development of teaching competences, respectively. Towards Horizon Europe: EU Council and Parliament approve positions
The proposal for Horizon Europe, the next EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2021-2017), was first presented by the European Commission in June 2018. IAU 2018 International Conference: Higher education partnerships for societal impact
The International Association of Universities (IAU) recently held its annual conference in Kuala Lumpur with a focus on partnerships for societal impact. Some 300 delegates were present from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and from Brazil to Uganda. Partnership between Erasmus Mundus and the Inter-University Exchange Project of the Japanese Ministry of Education
In 2019 for the first time Erasmus Mundus opens up to a new partnership model in the form of a joint call EU-Japan. The purpose of the joint call will be to select excellent consortia of European and Japanese universities to develop highly integrated joint master programmes and offer scholarships to students.
