EASSH - Members - NetIAS - Network of European Institutes for Advanced Study

The Network brings together 21 Institutes for Advanced Study across Europe. It was created in 2004 to stimulate a dialogue on IAS practices and possible forms of cooperation. Within the whole network, more than 500 researchers are hosted every year for up to one full academic year. 
NetIAS members share the objective of creating international and multidisciplinary learning communities. This openness and the freedom the fellows enjoy for their researches serve to promote scientific and intellectual exchanges. The fellows are released from their usual teaching and research obligations and pursue their project in a privileged environment, that stimulates reflexion and innovation. More...

The EADH brings together and represents the Digital Humanities in Europe across the entire spectrum of disciplines that research, develop, and apply digital humanities methods and technology. The EADH also supports the formation of DH interest groups in Europe that are defined by region, language, methodological focus or other criteria.

EASSH - Members - Danish School of Education

The Danish School of Education was established in 2011 as a department at the Faculty of Arts at Aarhus University. 
It originates from the Danish School of Education (DPU), which was originally established as the Danish University of Education on 1 July 2000 by the merger of the Royal Danish School of Educational Studies, the Danish National Institute for Educational Research, the Danish School of Advanced Pedagogy and the Danish National Centre for Technology-Supported Learning. 
On 1 June 2007 the DPU merged with the University of Aarhus and changed status from independent university to a university school at the University of Aarhus. More...

Achieving Impact - Socio-economic Sciences & Humanities (SSH) in Horizon 2020. Insights & key findings of the conference

"Achieving Impact..." was a Net4Society Conference & Information Day that took place on 26-27 February 2014 in Athens, Greece. It addressed questions such as: How can research in social sciences and humanities (SSH) support the Europe 2020 growth strategy? What measurable impact can such research hope to have on European societies? And how should that impact be demonstrated in Horizon 20202 research projects? Offering a selective overview of key content from the conference, this document highlights some of the concerns, challenges and opportunities identified by the participants.
