THE « réputation » 2017 - Trois établissements français dans le top 100

Campus FranceLa grande nouveauté du classement, c’est que pour la première fois, un établissement français, Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL) rentre directement dans le Top 50, à la 38ème place . « La France a plutôt sous-performé dans ce classement ces dernières années, mais le succès de PSL révèle le prestige collectif de plusieurs institutions phares de la capitale », écrit le rédacteur en chef du classement, Phil Baty.

To make better impact to the global sustainability environment, universities need to put more efforts on  the six criteria: setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water management, transportation and education.
This workshop is aimed to highlight the commitment of Italian universities towards a sustainable 360° approach. UI GM Chairperson, Riri Fitri Sari, will showcase the ranking’s structure and indicators in details.  Italian participants are warmly invited to ask questions and raise issues concerning the specificity of the Italian universities to fit into the UI GreenMetric ranking. The Alma Mater Studiorum assumes the role of National Network Hub for UI GM  in the framework of this event that will  also host experts from  RUS (Rete delle Università per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile). British Universities Dominate THE World Rankings

Times Higher Education (THE) has released the latest edition of its World University Rankings. The result that has received the most publicity is the rise of Cambridge to second place so that with Oxford at the top there are now two British universities occupying the top two places. THE reports that the rise of Cambridge was due to a rise in research quality and research income while rivals Caltech and Stanford suffered because of falling institutional income and a relative decline in doctoral degrees awarded.
